A 40-year-old man was found guilty of invading his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend with multiple children while they were sleeping.

On Tuesday, June 6, 2022, a jury from Mount Clemens, Michigan convicted a 40-year-old man as guilty of home invasion – a 20-year felony. The man was identified as Maurice Frazier from Detroit. Frazier was also convicted of an Assault With an Intent To Do Great Bodily Harm less than murder – a 10-year felony. He was convicted on June 1, 2023 followed by the four-day trial.
According to the reports, Frazier broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home Warren without permission. His ex was sleeping together with her husband and also her 6 children. Frazier violently entered their room with a 23-inch blade and sliced her husband’s arm. The victim suffered from a severe arm injury according to Prosecutor Lucido.
Prosecutor Lucido was thankful to their jury for taking great consideration for this case. This act alone was to deliver to people that their country will not tolerate any acts of violence such as intrusion and assault.
In a published article of Macomb County, Prosecutor Lucido stated, “Through our team’s approach, we have worked hard, and have ensured that justice prevailed.”.
Frazier will be sentenced in front of the Macomb County Circuit on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.
