“An expulsion effect is being generated. Those who have a flat in Barcelona will not leave, because they have an asset that will be worth more, but given the possibility of choosing, families are prioritizing open-air areas that are well connected to the city. “explains Hernández Reche.

In this sense, the regions that are increasing the most in price as a result of the increase in demand are Maresme and Vallès Occidental and Oriental, with cities such as Badalona, ​​Sant Cugat, Terrassa and Manresa as the main destinations in demand .
