A woman from West Virginia was arrested after police investigated the death of a 72-year-old man.
On January 2018, West Virginia Police thoroughly did a welfare check in the victim’s house when his friends reported that they were worried because they hadn’t heard anything from him. According to True Crime Daily, the West Virginia Police concluded Sheppard’s death was a homicide even though they didn’t know what caused it. In multiple investigation reports and processes, interviews of relatives and friends have been included in the investigation. One interviewee was Autumn McNeely.

Officials interviewed McNeely again on June 14 and found evidence that connects to the death of Sheppard. McNeely was arrested for first-degree murder of Sheppard. She is being held in the Southern Regional Jail. For additional data, click here.
