A mother from Florida who kidnapped her newborn from the NICU stabbed three hospital staff members when she was about to escape based on the report of True Crime Daily.

Thursday evening, July 13, a 31-year-old mother kidnapped her newborn from the NICU at the Palms West Hospital.

Kendra Greene allegedly took with her the 3-day-old infant from the ventilator.

The infant had been placed on the ventilator for underdeveloped lungs.

How Did Greene Stabbed The Hospital Staff Members?

According to WPEC-TV, the hospital staff had seen Greene removing the breathing devices from her baby. The staff members advised her not to do so, but Greene got mad at nagged the staff member.

Another hospital staff had seen Greene carrying the infant and hurriedly ran going to the emergency room exit. The staff member tried to talk to her.

Without any warning, Greene cut the arm of the staff member.

Another staff member who tried to stop her had been cut by the neck and the other was in the hand.

The hospital staff members were treated at the same hospital. Their wounds were not life-threatening.

The whole incident was reported to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. They arrested Greene.

The infant was taken back to the hospital while the mother was under custody.
