A Texas woman was fatally shot and killed while 4 members of the family were wounded during a car shooting incident outside of an apartment complex.
Shooting Incident at Texas Apartment Complex
Police authorities confirmed that a shooting incident occurred at a Texas apartment complex. One woman was fatally shot and killed while 4 members of the family were wounded. Part of the wounded persons were the three children who were also inside the car.
In a published article in FOX News, the victims were shot while they were inside their car. It was found during the investigation that a black car followed them and one of the suspects got out and opened fire, according to Police Chief Bill Vegas.
They did not mention the names of the victims as the investigation continues. However, they confirmed that the woman died while the man and children, ages 8 and 10, were immediately taken to the nearest hospital to be treated. They are stable and their conditions are not life-threatening.
Police Chief Described the Incident as “Horrific”
According to a published article in ABC News, Police Chief Bill Vegas described the shooting incident during the news conference near the scene and where the white car with bullet holes was in the parking lot. He also confirmed that numerous shots were fired and that everyone got shot.
Furthermore, police officers are still searching for the suspects and they encouraged anyone who has seen or witnessed the crime to contact them as soon as possible.
