In 2016, the final full year of Biden’s tenure as vice president, the couple’s income increases from $400,000 to $11 million.
Income Increase of Pres. Joe Biden’s Family
According to the released report of Just the News, in light of claims that the Biden family received $10 million as part of a bribery plot involving a Ukrainian national, top congressional Republicans are investigating who donated President Joe Biden’s company, CelticCapri Corp., approximately $10 million in 2017.
Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, witnessed an income increase from $400,000 in 2016, Biden’s final full year as vice president, to $11 million in 2017, according to a 2019 report from The Associated Press. Rep. Eli Crane, R-Ariz., tweeted earlier this month that it “would shock no one in this town” if Joe Biden acquired millions of dollars from “selling out the country in a bribery scheme” and then concealed that money in dubious shell businesses.
To conduct their post-White House business, the Bidens have used CelticCapri Corp. The wire service reports that the majority of the Bidens’ income came from his biography, “Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose.”

Corruptions Claims
In March 2016, Shokin was let go for, according to Obama administration officials, failing to look into Ukrainian corruption. However, Bob Anderson, a writer at The Federalist, pointed out that the campaign only provided individual returns, none of which related to any S-corporation returns, such as those for CelticCapri Corp. Previously, the Biden campaign posted financial disclosures online the URL has subsequently been changed to a fundraising page for the Biden 2024 campaign.
Although “Promise Me, Dad” had sold more than 300,000 copies as of 2019, Anderson claimed that Biden would have only collected about $800,000 at the normal blended royalty rate of 7.5% for paperback sales and 15% for hardcover sales. As a result, millions of dollars in money are still unaccounted for.
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, stated earlier this month on an edition of his podcast, “Verdict with Ted Cruz,” “You’re looking at a tax return that has $10 million in cash that came from a mystery source.”
Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., who has worked relentlessly to look into corruption claims concerning the Biden family, stated last week that he believes the federal government is also corrupt.
