New England Patriot of National Football League Jack Jones pleaded not guilty to nine counts of weapons violation arrested at Logan Airport, Massachusetts.
New England Patriot Jones Not Guilty
Jack Jones was arrested at Logan Airport on June 16 for illegal possession of firearms. He is facing multiple gun-related charges. Two counts each of unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a lar-capacity magazine, possession of ammunition without a firearm identification, and carrying a loaded firearm. He was charged with airport security violations as well, according to the news report released by Fox News.
According to Rosemary Scapicchio, attorney of Jones, Jones was released through a bail worth $30,000, with a pending probable cause hearing on August 18. Jones was cooperative throughout the process. This was the opposite of how the media has been describing him, which they named Jones a thug. Mr. Jones wanted to do is play football and support his family. The media’s comparison to other people is unfair and unjustifiable, unlike others. The attorney did not comment when she was asked by the media if she is referring to Aaron Hernandez, also a Patriot player who was convicted of first-degree murder in 2013 and acquitted in a separate double homicide.
Massachusetts State Police received a call from Transportation Security Administration checkpoint at Massachusetts Boston Airport after they found two firearms in his hand-carry luggage of Jones on his way going to New England.
