After the mother allegedly shot her son many times after a quarrel over a video game console, a 34-year-old woman was brought into authorities’ custody.
Authorities’ Respondents
From the news released by True Crime Daily, Officers were ranged to a home on Sparks Street SW regarding a mother who shot her son on Thursday, June 29, at 10:22 p.m., according to the Atlanta Police Department. When they got there, they discovered a 17-year-old guy with gunshot wounds in his body. He was taken immediately in an ambulance to a local nearest hospital for treatment after they arrived.
Jaquana Butler, the victim’s mother, has been identified by police as the suspect in the shooting. Butler, the mother, and her son allegedly got into a fight “over a video game console that resorted to gunfire,” according to an Atlanta Police investigation.

Suspect’s Jail Records
Butler allegedly pulled her gun during the altercation and shot her son numerous times. She was taken into custody and lodged in the Fulton County Jail and faces charges of aggravated assault, irresponsible behavior, and cruelty to minors.
According to the records of the Fulton County Jail, Butler has been detained numerous times over the last 13 years on a variety of crimes, including aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, armed robbery, and more.
