· Chandrakhani is also known as the Valley of the Gods. According to legend, Jamlu (the presiding deity of Malana) opened a basket containing the Kullu gods at the Chandrakhani Pass and strong winds carried the gods to their present abodes.
· Malana is an ancient city and the townspeople claim to be descendants of Alexander’s army.
· Malana is known for its unique social system and you will find accommodations for outsiders near the main temple and within town.

Chandrakhani Pass Trekking Highlights:
· The trek will be completed in 9 to 10 days with the first two days reserved for acclimatization. You will be provided with nutritious vegetarian food with tea and soup three times a day.
· Drinking and smoking are strictly prohibited.

The Religious value of Chandrakhani trek
· According to legend, Jamlu (the ruling deity Malana) once carried a basket of Kullu gods. When she reached the top of the pass, she opened the basket and a strong wind blew the gods all over Kullu.
· Tal, which is currently the body of the respective temples. Since then the valley has been known as the Valley of the Gods.
· Chandrakhani Pass Trek starts from Manali and then takes you to Celanti, a high-altitude flower meadow through Naggar, Rumsu, and Ganachalani.
· From Celanti, you will trek uphill to Chandrakhani Pass, the final destination of the trek.
· Chandrakhani is located at an altitude of 3600m above sea level and is famous for its fabulous view of Deo Tibba peak, Pir Panjal, and Parvati mountain range. Sooner or later, we will leave the Chandrakhani pass and head toward the next destination Dadru.
Over the next 48 hours, you will trek to some of Himachal Pradesh’s most unusual destinations: Malana, Jari, and the village of Kasol. From Jari, board a bus that will take you back to Manali.

Day 1: Delhi – Manali (575 km/14 hrs. From Delhi, board an AC Volvo to reach Manali. Overnight drive.
Day 2: Manali When you reach Manali, you will be picked up by our tour guides and transferred to Manali the hotel.
The afternoon is free. Dinner and overnight at Manali Hotel.
Day 3: Manali – Naggar – Rumsu – Ganachalani (2700 Mts/8856 Ft) (15 Kms/5-6 hrs) After breakfast embarks on a journey to Naggar, a small settlement known for its castles and temples is the start of your trekking expedition.
A kilometer walk along the bridle path takes you to Roerich’s hut and then on to Rumsu village. In Rumsu village, visit an ancient wooden temple dedicated to Jamlu in Malana. After a relaxing break in the village, head up the ridge to reach the east side of the village. Then cross a forest of cedars, pines, and horse chestnuts to reach Ganachalani.

Day 4: Ganachalani – Celanti (3500 Mts/11480 Ft) (12 km/4-5 hrs. Start your trek with a 4 km climb from Ganachalani to reach the meadows, which rise at an altitude of 3000m From the meadow you can see Manali, Kullu valley, Pir Panjal range, and Bara Bhangal range. Also, you will pass a small rhododendron forest and a series of alpine meadows to reach Celanti.Dinner and overnight in Celanti.
Day 5: Celanti – Chandrakhani Pass (3650 Mts/11972 Ft) – Dadru (3000 Mts/9840 Ft) (15 km/6 hrs) After breakfast, start walking uphill for an hour to reach Chandrakhani Pass to reach. You can see the breathtaking view of Ghalpo peaks from Lahaul-Dharamsura (6446m) and Papsura (6451m) and the other high peaks in upper Tosh valley. After a relaxing break at Chandrakhani Pass, begin the descent to reach Dadru through the grasslands in Nagarvani. Dinner and overnight at Dadru
Day 6: Dadru – Malana (2650 Mts/8692 Ft) (8 km/ 2-3 hrs. From Dadru, trek along the Malana River until you reach the Rashol Pass (3260 m) and the valley of Reach Parvati via Kasol village. Start overnight and have dinner from Rashol pass downhill to Malana. Malana is said to be the oldest democracy in the world. Little has changed since the inception of its judicial system.
Day 7: Malana – Jari (1520 Mts/4986 Ft) (20 km / 4-5 hrs. Today is the last day of trekking. From Malana, a downhill trek of about 5-6 km takes you to Malana a dam. From the dam, continue driving 12 km to reach Jari, a magical green-lined village that sits just above the confluence of the Malana and Parvati rivers. Dinner and overnight in Jari tents.
Day 8: Jari – Manali (6 hours drive) After spending the night in Jari village, hop on a bus that will take you to Manali. Dinner and overnight at Manali Hotel.
Day 9: Manali – Delhi (525 km/12-14 hrs) Morning and afternoon sightseeing tour of Manali.
In the evening, board your AC Volvo bus for the transfer to Delhi, Overnight.
Day 10: Delhi Arrive in Delhi in the morning between 06:30-07:30.
